Your role, as a Design Engineer at inContext, is to contribute with your knowledge and experience to our customers’ projects in the automotive industries, providing solutions within the different phases of product development.
- You will be part of new development projects where visible design areas, shape and function play an important part.
- You will design in various materials, primarily sheet metal, plastic and castings.
- As you will be communicating on a regular basis with various groups, suppliers, purchasing etc, it is imperative that you are communicative and structured.
To be a successful candidate for this role, you most likely have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, and preferably a few years of relevant work experience of mechanical design within the automotive industry.
To succeed at inContext, you should have the ability to act independently and understand new information easily. You are used to seek new information and you are not afraid to ask for information when necessary. English and Swedish proficiency is mandatory. Knowledge of CATIA V5 is an asset, but not a requirement.
