Autumn 2021 we started the inContext Academy. What a successful start we had! As a newly graduated student it is always challenging getting the first job, so we figured we should start an Academy to make the transition between student life and working life a bit smoother.
“Sliding through the mountains of happiness” that’s the motto of one the most unforgettable ski trips at inContext.
The spring-sun flowing down from the northern Swedish skies, reflecting its light beautifully in the white slopes, was just the opening for a weekend full of adventures, relaxing moments, laughs, dancing but above all a weekend were the the entire inContext team came closer together.
inContext have during 2021 supported Candela, a Stockholm based hydrofoiling electrical boat builder, with development, prototypes, and sourcing of cable harness for their model C8.
At inContext, we have increased our focus on sustainability during 2021. We are not only talking about it, but we have also ramped up our actions on sustainability. During the year we have started a sustainability team that have worked with the focus for inContext to become a greener company.
In October we reached a long-anticipated development goal: to outgrow our premises here at Telefonplan in Stockholm. Celebrations were in full swing as we held a housewarming party for our newly expanded office, got the whole team together to party, and crowned our king of table tennis.
Say hello to the pantograph, the ancient device invented in the 1890s that’s currently mounted on e-trucks on test tracks in Germany. Pantographs have been used on trains and trams to connect them to overhead wires, and it’s a key component in the future of road freight. Cable harness experts from inContext are designing the e-trucks’ wiring.
As some of you may know, I’m currently on a 6 week long hiking trip across the Pyrenees, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. The route is called the HRP, and it’s around 770 km with about 40 km total elevation gain (and loss…). I’ve been sleeping in a tent every night and carrying around 3 days of food.
