What attracted you to inContext?
It has been a few years that I have planned of moving abroad, it almost happened in 2016 when I got a job offer in Germany, but I ended up declining the offer due to personal reasons.
This year, when me and my wife decided to move abroad Brazil, I started looking for current openings at LinkedIn. I ended up finding inContext, which came to be very interesting to me. Before that I did not know about its existence, so I started to look at the website to get to know the company and its business, and I got really with what the company has to offer and one thing that makes the difference: people. At the website does not aim only to the main business of the company, but it aims as well personal development, employee satisfaction, social activities and seems that is a very strong team that is inspired in what they do!
Then, after a few interviews with Sofia and Martin, it made me confirm everything that I believed at inContext. Then I was sure that this is a great environment that I want to join and where I want to contribute.
What are you hoping to contribute to inContext?
I have been working in the automotive field for 6 years, with good experience with electrical wiring harness design. I’m proficient in many automotive industry development tools and automotive engineering skills, so I would like to use all my experience to contribute to the company’s success, in exchange, I will keep learning new engineering skills, new development tools, get to meet new friends, to work as a team and to be happy to work in a great environment.
Mention something about yourself that your colleagues do not already know?
I have many hobbies such as to practice sports (my favorites are running and cycling) and other outdoor activities, landscape photography, play guitar, go to the cinema/watch movies, read books and mainly to travel! I have known about 30 countries worldwide, and would like to get to know even more about the world, I love to learn about different cultures, get to know new people and places, to photograph landscapes/architectures, walk around the cities and get lost, get to taste local gastronomy, and get to know local costumes! Besides that, I just like to hang out with friends and drink a beer.
